Components

Common components for experiments with Arduino / Freeduino and general microcontroller work.

Transistors (bag of 10)

This is the standard NPN Darlington transistor for interfacing higher current / voltage loads. 5A and 60 volts maximum (but good engineers will leave a generous safety factor).

Useful for interfacing Freeduino / Arduino with higher current / voltage loads such as relays, solenoids, motors, stepper motors, halogen lights, and the like.

Resistor pack

Digital electronics don't require a lot of values of resistors. We wanted to provide some resistors just as a convenience for beginners to get going. The previous resistor pack we offered was a lot of work for us to pack, and also a lot of work for customers to sort out on the other end.

As an alternative we're offering aproximately fifty of two really common values 1k and 10k, packed in two separate bags, so not much work on either end.

If you're really going to get involved in electronics, at some point you will need a little cabinet of drawers of resistors, like the ones that Jameco sells.

This package contains:

~50 x 1k resistors
~50 x 10k resistors

Common value resistors useful for beginning experiments with Arduino/Freeduino.

Package of 100.
