Pardon the use of the image to defeat pesky spambots.
Now that I've got the forum up and running again, please post support questions to the forum. That way I build up a database of help questions and others can find answers when I'm doing important other activities, such as sleeping.
Best times to call are Monday - Thursday 9:00-Noon or Saturday 10:00-5:00.
Eastern Standard Time
It's currently a general-purpose home/office phone line so please be reasonable.
Also I can't take
orders over the phone, see below for some other options.
Wow, long time no update to latest news. Well in the planetary time frame it was latest news. Now I've updated and it's latest news on Internet time frame for at least six hours. I've done a lot of development on various things, which you can see on the site. Added some odds and ends and headers. RBBB has a new version and is offered assembled. Assembled LCD boards are going up soon.
Lots of new web work behind the scenes, not much of which is visible yet. Send me your opinions of OS Commerce and Joomla (I know they're not apples and apples - you'll have to square that circle.) Also tell me how to get rid of these crazy scroll bars.
Well it took six months to get forum back up but it finally happened. Lets hope it stays ahead of the spammers this time. Ask me some silly questions and I'll write you some serious answers, or vice versa.
On the official Arduino scene, I had a few of my ideas, such as the AREF command, included in Arduino 011 core (software). Also a suggestion box was implemented on the (arduino.cc) Playground - another of my ideas that chief software honcho Mellis liked enough to let me implement.
Of course they have ignored lots of my other development work too, such as the floating point mapping function in the code library, and the two-line freaking code fix for the bug in delayMicroseconds(), which I tested and posted in the (Arduino) forum. But I'm not angry about it. Do I sound angry?
This site is the work of Paul Badger, an artist working in new media and public art. who teaches courses in physical computing and robotics at Rhode Island School of Design. He also does much of the reference documentation on the Arduino website.
Payment:
I have three possible ways to accept payment. Paypal, personal check, and institutional purchase orders from educational institutions. I don't really have a preference, Paypal is just faster and more convenient. If you wish to pay by check, just use PayPal to generate a shopping cart, take a screen capture of it, then cancel the order), and send the order and a check to the address above. Send me email too though, so I can watch for it, and I'll have your email and mailing addresses in correct electronic form.
I am happy to take purchase orders from educational institutions but anything under $150 must be prepaid. This is mostly about keeping paperwork to a minimum. Please also send me an email with
I will send an email when I ship an order. If the order is going to take a few days to fill I try to confirm receipt of the order and give an estimated ship date.
Refunds are really easy to do with Paypal so I write that things are out of stock and you can find the item elsewhere, don't hesitate to email me for a refund.
As always, happy programming,
Paul Badger
