Controlling a SX-150 analog synth with Arduino

This is what I'm working on at the moment: http://mrbook.org/blog/2008/11/22/controlling-a-gakken-sx-150-synth-with-arduino/ I'll be adding full midi support to the arduino instead of having a "soft" midi connection. More info than you asked for I know. Hey Paul, I actually rather have the extra info, and "sort of" understand what's going on, so thanks for the extended explanation. I was able to actually "reconstruct" the broken capacitor with some solder and a hot glue gun, and now I have a super ghetto lookin...

i destroyed one of the ceramic capacitors

Hi, Man, this is my third arduino build, and I totally destroyed one of the ceramic capacitors (don't ask). Question is, I have a some other ones laying around, but I'm not sure if they'll work. The closest values I have are: 0.01uf 50V(103) and 1000pf 50V(102) . Would any of these work on the RBBB ...
