These 6mm push button momentary on switches are an essential part of any breadboard-based or through-hole project. Perfect for single-press activities, such as reset functions, the switches are part of most Arduino-based kits, like the BBB and RBBB as well as the LCD117 Kit.
The key to using these switches is figuring out which leads are actually switched. The switching action happens between the closer leads. The other two leads are connected internally (shorted) to the leads that switch. The photo included on the breadboard is actually incorrect – you’ll want to rotate the switch 90 degrees to get them to work correctly on breadboards. It can also be useful to flatten out the leads with pliers to get them to stay in a breadboard.
Comes in packs of 5 and 20.
