The MLX90614 is a TO-39 5V Single Zone SPI Infrared thermometer for non contact temperature measurements; factory calibrated for wide temperature ranges: -40 to 125 °C Ambient Temperature and -70 to 382.2 °C Object Temperature.
The calculated object and ambient temperatures are accessible by 2 wire
serial SMBus compatible protocol (0.02°C resolution) or via 10-bit PWM output of the device; this measures the average temperature of all objects in the sensor’s Field Of View (FOV) with standard
accuracy of ±0.5ºC around room temperatures.
The 10-bit PWM is as a standard configuration to continuously transmit the measured object temperature in the range of -20 to 120
°C with an output resolution of 0.14 °C, and could be customized for
virtually any range desired by the customer by changing the content of 2
